Nokia N96 - 2008

Launched worldwide in 2008, the Nokia N96 was designed for experience driven, confident and creative consumers. The design language employed a simple and bold band and core theme. Realizing a migration to a screen centric approach, concept focus was on creating a window to your media. Around this window is the band. The band moves as much physical functionality as possible to the periphery of the product creating a clean and uncluttered core. A design approach that demonstrated the confidence of what Nseries meant. It suggested a more intelligent future. An expression of the paradox of utility & emotion, the infusion of ‘humanness’ into innovative technology, delivering intangible desirability. The N96 continued the sense of simplicity, beauty and clear recognition for purpose that become the hallmark of Nokia Nseries design.
